Classicist No. 12 Call for Entries

With the Classicist No. 11 published, the ICAA is now working on preparations for No. 12, scheduled for publication in December 2015 and dedicated to the theme of canon and invention in the classical orders. Friends and members of the ICAA are invited to contribute by submitting their academic papers, professional work, or student projects.

Those wishing to propose an academic paper or professional/student project are requested to write to us at [email protected] for an application form to fill out and return to the same address. Authors of articles will submit with their application an abstract of 500 words maximum. Upon receiving the application, we will open a Dropbox folder in your name into which you will place your submitted manuscript, illustrations, and other materials. Contributors of professional or student projects may submit up to three examples, accompanied by a brief description (maximum 500 words) and up to four digital review images per project. Please complete a separate application form for each type of submittal (academic paper professional project, etc.) All applications from the same contributor may be sent in to your named Dropbox folder.

To be considered for No. 12, each submittal, regardless of category, must arrive in the designated Dropbox folder by 5:00 pm EDT Monday, December 1, 2014. Submissions that are accepted for publication will need to be ready for publication by January 15, 2015.

All submittals of professional or academic projects are subject to review by an editorial committee of the ICAA, and academic papers whose abstracts are accepted will be subject to a double-blind external peer review. Applicants whose submittals are accepted for publication will be required to follow the author protocols regarding text and image specifications, permissions clearance, and deadlines for final materials. All contributors will be asked to sign a publication agreement.
